  
The Atlas Women's Elektra snowshoe is engineered specifically for a woman's stride and features their revolutionary Spring Loaded Suspension for exeptional control on moderately challenging terrain. This kit version includes not only the snowshoes but poles made with lightweight aluminum tubing that come with alpine powder baskets for deep snow. These poles assist in keeping you balanced and help take some weight off your legs. To top it off, the kit comes with a nice tote bag you can store your shoes in so your car can stay clean and dry.
The new Spring loaded suspension system sets Atlas snowshoes apart from every other snowshoes on the market. You get lateral flex so the foot is allowed to flex naturally from side to side. So if you are traversing a slope your foot can assume its natural flat position on the slope which is very solid, very controlled. The same is true with climbing up a slope, you can flex and kick in the crampons giving your foot the control and ability to engage the angles. This new suspension system allows the foot the freedom to move the way it was meant to move and feels like you are just going on a hike in your shoes without snow shoes.
